Sniper Elite 5 is almost here and arriving on consoles and PC next month! With the latest addition to the series, this title is set to bring more ways to play than ever before. Players are going to be able to experience the moments leading up to D-Day and experience Rebellion’s take on a crucial moment in WWII.
The hour-long stream gave us a great look into the second mission of the game. Huge open areas return along with multiple pathways to maneuver through the level and plan your mission. Enemy AI seems to have been given an upgrade, with patrols investigating suspicious areas and using tactics to take you out. Since it only takes a few shots to kill you, stealth is always the best option.
Weapons have much deeper modification options this time around. Guns can be modded with scopes, suppressors, and more attachments that may not be historically accurate but provide some awesome customization. Animations seem to be a bit more fluid and realistic as you move around the level and x-ray kill cams are back and look better than ever.
The stream shows off some great gameplay footage and gives players an idea of what to expect next month. With drop-in and drop-out co-op campaign, invasion multiplayer mode, and 16-player adversarial mode there is a lot of ways to play this game. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date with the latest info on Sniper Elite 5 as we work our way up to launch.
Sniper Elite 5 will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. It is also going to be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and EGS.
