Retro-Style Platformer SUPER ALLOY RANGER Out Now On Steam

Fans of jumping robot platformers of the past, take note. Gamera Game has announced the release of Alloy Mushroom’s 2D platformer Super Alloy Ranger onto PC!

Super Alloy Ranger invites the player to the dangerous planet Tanwada, conquered by a hostile army of machines. Bounty Hunters Rambos and Kelly were searching for a wanted criminal when a forcefield trapped them on the hazardous world. There, they meet and ally with two mysterious robot siblings, No2 and No3, to find a way to escape.

The game boasts two different characters to choose from, Kelly and Combat Robot No2, both of which have their own skill. While Kelly can blast hostile creatures from range, No2 gets much more up close and personal with claws, swords, and other melee weapons that let her drain energy from the enemy. Both can be upgraded and customized using attribute chips.  These may be necessary, as enemies are numerous and bosses are huge. These include underwater robots, huge androids, and a digging machine making its way toward the planet’s core.

The game wears its inspiration on its sleeve, taking notes from old classics like Megaman, Metal Slug, and Contra. Super Alloy Ranger is available now for PC via Steam.
