Devolver Digital debuted a sneak peek for Fall Guys season 2 during Gamescom! The above video shows a glimpse of what’s to come next season, including the new modes/maps and costumes! It looks like the developers at Mediatonic seem to be setting a specific theme around each season which adds a nice touch of whimsy. This one is going medieval on its players with fantastical elements.
Dragons, wizards, fortresses, and medieval games all made the cut during the sneak peek, really showing us what to expect. It was nice to see how much they indulged themselves in their theme. There are so many great looking costumes. Besides dragons and wizards, we see different variations of Vikings, knights, and witches too.
Each level is decorated with different details to maintain the immersion. Castle walls, drawbridges, and swinging axes help drum up anticipation for this next venture into the Fall Guys universe. The most notable takeaways were the scenes showcasing the new modes. More specifically, the movable wooden ramps, and structures. This season will most definitely hold a learning curve for players to watch out for.
