It looks like Breaking Walls isn’t going to let us just journey through a daylight-filled world as a Sugar Glider and plans to throw us into the dangers of nighttime in their upcoming game AWAY: The Survival Series. Not only will there be sections with nighttime missions, but they are even going to have sections of the game equipped with a day-night cycle. This means you can watch the sunset and the nightlife come out in a seemingly natural state.
To properly show off the nighttime gameplay, they have provided a short video with some commentary to go over everything included with this different time of day. At night, stealth plays a big role in avoiding unwanted attention from dangerous enemies. Whether you're hiding in tall grass or navigating through the trees, there are many ways to explore your environments without getting spotted. However, if you want to fight your way through the increased spawn count of rats and spiders, you can do that as well. Beware though, some predators are simply too big to fight. When you come across larger animals like foxes or wolves, it's best to stay safe in the trees as you make your way across their territory.
Seems that AWAY is going to feature all sorts of different environments and they are doing a great job to show off the variety. Not long before this nighttime reveal we got the summertime beachfront reveal, so I wonder what they will reveal next!
