Looking to upgrade their retro console, SEGA is about to release the Genesis Mini 2! This new console replicates the design of the second model of the Genesis and will feature hardware improvements over 2019’s SEGA Genesis Mini. It won’t be long before this upgraded retro console is available either as it is set to release on October 27, 2022, in North America.
This next generation of the Genesis Mini is boasting that the console will include a brand-new line-up of more than 50 games, some titles from the SEGA CD era will be playable, and there is going to be full-motion support. They are even going to have a previously unreleased game has also been added as a bonus, although they haven’t specified what title that will be.
Those interested can pre-order the SEGA Genesis Mini 2 today on Amazon! Along with the console, it will include 50 games, a controller, a high-speed HDMI cable, a USB power cable, and an AC adapter. Will you be getting this upgraded version of the retro SEGA console?
