I'm super torn on what I think about the Skyrim Remaster after watching this video, and it's not why you would think. Initially, I assumed the Skyrim Remaster would be for those who couldn't afford a PC that has been capable of updating the graphics of their favorite game for the past couple years. Now, watching the video, I feel like it's more of an apple to oranges comparison (at least in the case of the RealVisionENB Mod).
Both versions look better than Vanilla, but the remaster tends to keep more to the original whereas the mod tends to add flair or do something differently entirely out of aesthetic preference. I can't tell you truly which water shader I prefer, but I do think the buildings look a bit crisper in the mod. At the same time, it seems weird that the snow worn stone in the mountains looks like it was just put up last week in the PC mod.
I'm starting to see the legitimacy in the remaster. I'm not fully convinced it's something someone on PC should purchase, but I can see the appeal. Thanks to Candyland for sharing!
