The Clone Wars is back on consoles with the re-release of Star Wars: Republic Commandos on PlayStation 4/5 and Nintendo Switch! If you’re unaware of what this game is, then you’re in for a treat. It’s a first-person shooter set in the wildest war the galaxy has ever seen, the Clone Wars. You’ll take on the helmet as the leader of a Republic Commandos and destroy all of the enemies in your path. You’re able to command your squad of classic characters in order to carry out your missions strategically and intelligently for a clean victory.
You’ll also get to visit many familiar locations from the Star Wars films as well as kill some of its most dangerous bad guys. The Clone Wars era ruled my childhood so I’m so excited to relive the feel of it once more. I never got around to playing this as a kid because I was a PlayStation player so now it’s a great time to finally check it out! I’ve only heard great things about this iconic game so hopefully, it lives up to the hype.
