It’s insane to think that the excruciatingly long wait for Starfield is almost over. In fact, you can preload it now on Xbox and PC platforms. If you preordered on Steam though, you’ll have to wait until August 30th to preload. I’m not quite sure why there is a such a large gap for the Steam preload as we found out very quickly, preloading the Xbox App PC version which is almost 120gb, is going to take a very long time for gamers with slow Internet download speeds.
Just a reminder, if you do a pay extra for the Premium Edition upgrade, you can play several days earlier. Our Xbox PC app here in the in the USA is saying the Premium Edition will be available Aug 31st at 6:00pm! Stay tuned for our full review, videos, and guides closer to launch.
