Zen Studios and Saber Interactive’s steampunk RPG Circus Electrique has officially released on PC and consoles. The game is set in an alternate Victorian London, where a strange event known as ‘The Maddening’ has turned ordinary citizens into deranged killers. The only people standing between the capital and its complete destruction are the performers of the Circus Electrique.
Combining strategy, story-driven RPG, and management sim, Circus Electrique sees the player take the role of the Ringmaster of both the greatest show on earth and London’s last hope. The player must assemble a crack team of clowns, contortionists, and strongmen to hunt down the source of the catastrophe, whilst also keeping things running at the big top by making sure performances run as normal. The show must go on, after all!
The game includes 15 different playable classes based on vintage circus archetypes, including fireblowers, ventriloquists, and escape artists. For once, the clowns are actually on the right side! It will also bring the plucky performers face-to-face with the worst that the Victorian underworld has to offer, with the addition of robobears, naturally.
Circus Electrique is available now, for the Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Store.
