A game inspired by the Harry Potter series and the Professor Layton puzzle-style is coming from the same developers of the Faraway puzzle adventure series. That’s right, developers Pine Studio is back, teamed up with publisher Snapbreak, and they have a new title that will likely turn into a series called The Academy: The First Riddle. Gearing up to launch on PC via Steam, Mac, and mobile devices on June 19th isn’t enough as they also plan to launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One later this year.
Take on the role of Sam, a freshman at Arbor’s famed, yet mysterious, Academy. Following the guidance of over 200 puzzles, players will progress through the story of the game and the mystery looming over the school. You can also take a break from the puzzle-led adventure and engage in a host of fun activities with an array of memorable characters.
