The Haunting Halloween Event Has Started in CALL OF DUTY

The Store is looking hauntingly good.

If you’re a Halloween enthusiast and an avid Call of Duty player, then chances are, you’ve got the game’s annual event “The Haunting” on your list of spooky things to do. Luckily for gamers, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 and MW2’s The Haunting event has begun, allowing players to take in the sights, sounds, and rewards that come with the most spine-chilling time of the year.

Players can drop into the action happening in Call of Duty through Halloween with new map variants and in-game modes that will have your hair on edge. Players can take to a new, scary version of Al Mazrah in the battle royale, as well as Vondel, renamed Vondead, as zombies roam about. So things are turned up to eleven this season.

But playing grants players the chance to unlock some truly awesome in-game rewards, for free! Who doesn’t love a good treat? Just logging in daily will grant players new skins, emblems, and stickers alone. By completing challenges, players can work their way up a Weapon Mastery chain and work through other event-themed goals to get Operator Skins too.

Skeletor is here to ring in the season

Though freebies are fun, Activision and Co. have released several new Halloween-inspired Operator bundles. One of the best so far though, is the purple-tastic Skeletor (He-Man) Operator Bundle which is purchaseable for 2,400 COD Points. This skeletal villain is exactly the thing both cartoon nerds and lovers of all things skully can enjoy this year. Aside from him, players can purchase an Ash Williams (Evil Dead) Operator Bundle in the coming days, as well as some original concept bundles directly from the minds of the creative team behind the game.

If you’re as excited as we are to be playing Call of Duty during The Haunting, then be sure to comment below what you’re most stoked about!
