For Honor is a medieval action-packed video game developed and published by Ubisoft and was released in 2017. It continues to have a large player base thanks to regular updates adding new content over the years. The game pits players against each other in multiple different game modes from objective-based to simple brawls.
Players pick a hero from one of 5 factions: Samurai, Knights, Vikings, Wu Lin, and the brand new Outlanders. With the new faction, Ubisoft will be able to implement playable characters who arent confined by the other factions’ location. We could potentially see characters from any time period or any place.
You can unlock the pirate, whose name is literally just Pirate, from the Heroes screen for $9.99 CAD right now, or wait for the early access period and you’ll be able to purchase her for 15,000 Steel. She wields a saber in the right hand and a pistol in the left, being able to use her pistol after any heavy attack, usually pulling your opponent close and firing into their gut as well as a long-range shot at any time.
She’s locked as a female character, so there won’t be any jack sparrow cosplayers. She has customization options from the other factions, on top of a few new ones specific to the outlanders class. Already being considered overpowered, she’s being used in almost every match. Although that usually happens with all new characters until their move set becomes widely known and the developers balance her out as need be.
