VALORANT Is Out Now! Check Out The Official Launch Trailers

VALORANT is officially out! In addition to a new map and agent, players can also take advantage of the Episode 1 Battle pass. Similar to how most other games handle Battle pass content, players will have a couple of months to make their way through a set amount of tiers, and earn some sweet rewards.

The pass itself will include both free and premium rewards, so players that don’t want to pay for the Battle pass can still take part and earn some cool content. If you want to learn more about how the Battle pass works, details can be found at the official blog post.

As expected from any game launch, VALORANT has had a few hiccups. Players aren’t receiving previously purchased Valorant Points (VP), Battle pass content is not being rewarded, and some regions are dealing with server instability. Although this definitely doesn’t help the launch experience for some players, Riot Games appears to be hard at work in resolving these issues.

Here’s to hoping they have fixes fairly quickly, so other players are not affected and can hop into VALORANT with no complications.

To celebrate the launch of the brand new tactical-shooter, Riot Games is hosting a competitive event this weekend in collaboration with Twitch Rivals. The event will feature everyone’s favorite content creators from all over the globe, as they battle over the $200,000 prize pool. The tournament will be broadcasted live over on Twitch.tv.

Although not confirmed, I suspect that those participating in the event will be streaming from their respective channels; if this is not the case, you can find the broadcast at /twitchgaming.
