Microids has released an expansion of their game based on the world-famous TV show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? The New Edition version is now out on PlayStation 5. This version offers additional content that will also become available in early 2022 on PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One consoles.
The new extra content includes:
More than 3,000 new questions, for a grand total of 8,000 questions!
New question packs to put your knowledge about the Olympic Games or the Justice League to the test!
An option to remove the timer allowing everyone to take the time they need to submit their final answer!
A new “quick game” mode focusing only on questions and answers letting players reach the million faster!
Enhanced models and animations immersing all contestants even more into the real game show!
Additionally, the developers are promising that their game will be updated regularly over the coming year with new themed question packs. In our review of the base game last year we noted that while the voice acting and graphics weren’t great, the questions and gameplay were a blast! We’re looking forward to checking out the New Edition and seeing how it improves the base game! Play it first on PlayStation 5 today!
