Developer Blizzard is currently hosting a welcome back weekend event for World of Warcraft. Starting today until June 24, the game will be playable even without a subscription and the game will also have an additional discount on account services.
Furthermore, players will also be able to play any expansion that they currently own. During the welcome back weekend event, players can play WoW nonstop with any of your characters, regardless of the level they’re in. Of course, after June 24, players will need to activate their subscription to continue playing the game. The account services sale that is also available today includes the ability to change your character’s race, faction, and appearance. Although Blizzard did not disclose how long the sale will last, it is expected that it will also end on Sunday.
In other WoW news, the upcoming seventh expansion for the game called Battle for Azeroth will be released on the Mac and Windows PC on August 14 this year.
