As the year winds down to a close we get a chance to see what Xbox is giving their Gold members for the last month of the year. I’m a pretty optimistic person but I gotta say that Xbox has really dropped the ball on these last two months of the year. Last month didn’t have any really notable standouts besides the LEGO Indiana Jones game and this month seems to follow that trend but looks to drop off even further somehow.
The December Games With Gold titles are:
Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell 12/1 - 12/15 (Xbox 360)
The Raven 12/1 - 12/31 (Xbox One)
Stacking 12/16 - 12/31 (Xbox 360)
Bleed 2 12/16 - 1/15/21 (Xbox One)
I’m sure these games are great but when you compare them to what PlayStation has been giving to their subscribers, it’s no contest. Xbox was giving away some awesome games over the summer but it just seems like they’ve run out of steam. It’s especially hard to swallow when considering the fact that the new consoles are out and a big portion of their gamers have upgraded. I’d feel like this is a slap in the face had I just spent $499 on a new console. Here’s to 2021! Yikes.
