In just a few weeks, Yakuza 6 will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4. Now, developer Sega has announced that they will be partnering with Gallery Nucleus to open a Yakuza 6 art exhibit, which will take place at the Nucleus Art Gallery in Alhambra, California from March 15 to April 1.
The good thing about this exhibit is that admission will be free to all and will not require patrons to reserve on the opening day. The art exhibit will feature several pieces of fan art, official game artwork, and exclusive themed prints that will feature a recreation of the popular “Kamurocho Gate” from the games.
The general producer of the Yakuza series, Daisuke Sato, is confirmed to be present on the opening day of the exhibit, together with the famous tattoo artist, HORITOMO, who is responsible for designing all the tattoos featured in the franchise. In addition, both of them will be signing limited-edition copies of the game’s artbook called “Essence of Art” edition, for all fans who will pre-order the game at the event. Furthermore, the two will be hosting a Q&A session that is rumored to include a “special announcement” regarding the game. Lastly, the first 200 attendees of the exhibit will receive a cool “Ono Michio-kun” pin for free.
A few weeks before the game’s release, Sega launched a demo of the game worldwide. However, the publisher quickly removed the demo from the North American region of PSN, due to instances that occurred to some players where they were able to access the full game, rather than just the prologue.
