There has been talk over the last few months about the Darksiders franchise making its way over to the Nintendo Switch. Such rumors have quickly been laid to rest as they have come up. Today however is something of a tremendous slip up on the part of THQ Nordic. A trailer for a Nintendo Switch version of Darksiders Warmastered Edition, an enhanced version of the original Darksiders, was posted on the THQ Nordic website.
The trailer was quickly pulled but not before the internet was able to record and repost it! The trailer clearly shows a traditional Switch logo near the beginning and the Switch and Eshop logos are part of the ending. This won’t be the first time Darksiders has graced a Nintendo console with both Darksiders Warmastered Edition and Darksiders 2 previously gracing the Wii U. Darksiders 2 was even supposed to grace Nintendo’s E3 booth in 2012 before being dropped by Nintendo.
If you insist on denying that a game is coming out this is definitely not the way you want to be doing it! As with all rumors it is best to wait for official confirmation, but let’s be honest here, the game is definitely coming.
