As we come to the close on what has to be the most challenging year we have all experienced, it is time to look back on what are the great games that got us through the year! While there are countless titles that are truly amazing, the GameTyrant team have put together a list of the games that truly brought joy to the members of our team. This time we have split them up into different categories rather than just giving a Top 5 list so that there is more specific reasoning for our decisions.

Game of the Year - The Last of Us part II by Naughty Dog

Just as we saw at The Game Awards 2020, our team has come to the decision that The Last of Us part II is the best title that came out of this year! While some of us have decided that it was simply a Top 5 title, we all agree that it was worth mentioning, making it a unanimous decision that this title was amazing through and through. Providing a great, although controversial, narrative, exciting gameplay, and an overall entertaining experience, The Last of Us part II takes the claim for the 2020 Game of the Year!

Best Music - DOOM Eternal by id Software

Best VR Title - Half-Life: Alyx by Valve

Best Storyline - In Other Waters by Jump Over The Age

Since there were so many titles released this year, we had trouble picking an official Top 5 and came up with a draw over a handful of games. Because of this, we are providing the titles here as honorable games from throughout the year, but in no particular order. Our honorable titles worth their time include:
