It’s one thing to get the official release date for a game you are waiting for, but for it to come with over ten minutes of gameplay is something to be excited about! Asobo Studio is working on the series continuation title A Plague Tale: Requiem which follows their successfully launched first title A Plague Tale: Innocence. With the help of publisher Focus Home Interactive, we now have a release date set for October 18th.
Follow Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through a massive ochre-red quarry overwhelmed with soldiers eager to capture them. Fortunately, the duo has many new tricks up their sleeve and don’t shy away from getting their hands dirty. Watch how it all plays out and get ready to embark on their heart-rending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world, and discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival.
Seeing some of the neat gameplay mechanics they are bringing to this game, and knowing that there is sure to be plenty more that they aren’t revealing pre-launch, has me pretty ecstatic for A Plague Tale: Requiem! As a huge fan of the first title, this is a must-have title for 2022 for me. It will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
