The newest member of the Champions of Chaos, the upcoming lord pack for Total War: Warhammer 3 has been revealed as Festus The Leechlord. Doctor Festus is a deranged devotee of Nurgle who has given himself completely to the grotesque Plague God in exchange for secret knowledge and time to further his studies of sickness and plagues. Festus has the ability to concoct a variety of potions and utilizes the Lore of Nurgle spells in combat, utilizing his mortal strengths as a lord of Chaos. While his Healing Elixers ability will heal his own troops, the Harbinger of Pestilence ability will deal damage to his foes. The catch is that only one can be active at a time. Managing your foul potions will be key to victory. Along with his combat abilities, Festus can brew plagues, gain extra souls when a plague is spread while increasing the duration, and the vassals of the mad plague doctor get poison attacks and spread Nurgle corruption
