The Arcade Crew and JoyMasher will soon be releasing the first publicly playable demo for their upcoming side-scrolling action platformer Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider. Fans of the old school 16-bit action games will enjoy the refined, full-throttle revenge quest. The demo will launce on October 3 ahead of the full game’s Fall 2022 launch on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation consoles, and Amazon Luna.
The demo includes two different levels from the game’s epic adventure. The opening moments follow a cyborg ninja, named Moonrider, and it rejects its purpose and breaks out of the lab it woke up in, culminating in an epic boss fight. The second part rejoins Moonrider later on in its adventure, fighting in an aerial showdown that requires precision and skill to succeed.
Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider’s design keeps the best of classic action game elements and refines it with laser-precise focus for its ninja main character, with snappy and challenging combat. This reimagining of the 16-bit era will include intricate pixel art and crunchy audio in a top-notch, refined platforming game.
